The next step is for it to be published in the Official Journal of the EU. One of the main changes relates to risks relating to prepaid cards and virtual currencies. On prepaid cards the threshold for identifying the holders is lowered from €250 to €150, and customer verification requirements are extended.
DNB is working on technology that makes it possible to identify clients with just a mobile phone and a passport.
