- Mastercard aims to kill passwords and manual card entry by 2030 using tokenisation and biometrics.
- Nuvei finalises regulatory approvals for Advent-led acquisition. Neon Maple Purchaser Inc is a special-purpose entity created by Advent International, and is supported by Philip Fayer, as well as investment funds managed by Novacap Management Inc. and CDPQ.
- Adyen partners with Zalando to optimise payments for European clients. Adyen will be the exclusive payment partner of Zalando for selected local payments, including Cartes Bancaires in France and Bancontact in Belgium.
- Barclays in discussions to offload 80% of merchant payments division to Brookfield but will not receive an up-front cash payment for it.
