- PayPoint and Lloyds expand SME payment services partnership. SME businesses using merchant services arranged by Handepay and PayPoint can enjoy benefits with Lloyds, such as next-day settlements, a faster onboarding experience, a dedicated app, and additional customer data and insights.
- Checkout expands to Japan, hiring a Country Manager and opening a Tokyo office.
- Mollie and PayPal partner to improve payment solutions for marketplace platforms in Europe. The collaboration allows marketplaces to integrate PayPal as a payment option
- Ayden partners with Doctolib, a European provider of digital healthcare services. The partnership has launched in France and Italy.
- Worldpay launches near-instant refunds for eligible online purchases. In addition to the UK, the service will be rolling out to merchants across the European Union in 2025 for both online and point-of-sale transactions.
