PayAdmit has integrated Yaspa’s Pay by Bank service into its platform to broaden account-to-account payment options for merchants. The partnership enables PayAdmit’s online retail and digital services clients to accept direct bank transfers with real-time confirmation, lower fees, and reduced fraud risk.

Mollie has agreed to acquire GoCardless, creating a combined payments provider serving over 350,000 businesses across card, bank, and local payment methods. The deal marks one of Europe’s biggest fintech consolidations, uniting GoCardless’s bank-to-bank payments expertise with Mollie’s card acquiring and hyper-local payments platform.

Temenos has announced that Finductive is now live with Temenos’ cloud-based banking technology to power a new digital payments platform for businesses across Europe. The platform equips Finductive to offer secure, efficient multi-currency payment services, from SEPA and SWIFT transfers to mass payouts to real-time FX conversion through Temenos’ Accounts, Payments and Financial Crime Mitigation solutions.

Zilch has secured a payments services licence from the Financial Conduct Authority, allowing the fintech to bring more payment methods in-house and innovate faster. The FCA authorisation follows two major product launches: “Zilch Pay”, a one-click checkout feature, and an AI-driven “Intelligent Commerce” platform turning live customer data into real-time insights.

Mondu has secured a €100 million debt facility from J.P. Morgan Payments to expand its B2B Buy Now, Pay Later services across Europe. Mondu’s deferred payment tools will be offered to the bank’s corporate clients, enabling businesses to extend payment terms on invoices and receivables. 

Affirm and Shopify are rolling out Shop Pay Instalments to more UK merchants. Online businesses on Shopify will now be able to offer customers flexible pay-over-time options at checkout while Affirm conduct real-time underwriting for each transaction.

CROSS-BORDER

ClearBank has partnered with fintech firm Finseta to power multi-currency cross-border payments for UK customers, ahead of a wider European expansion. Finseta will leverage ClearBank’s virtual IBAN and real-time payment infrastructure to offer GBP and multi-currency wallets, enabling individuals and merchants with complex FX needs to move money more efficiently. 

CRYPTOASSETS/BLOCKCHAIN/DLT

Bancomat is developing a euro-pegged stablecoin in collaboration with major banks and the Economy Ministry to boost digital payments. Aimed for launch in 2026, the token will be backed by euro-denominated debt and can be issued by any trusted European financial institution. 

Ripple is partnering with Amina Bank AG, making it the first European bank to adopt Ripple’s end-to-end blockchain payments platform. The deal will enable Amina’s clients to send near real-time cross-border payments leveraging Ripple’s network, bridging fiat banking rails with stablecoin and crypto transactions.

Aspire has launched Wise Platform-powered cross-border payments for businesses in Hong Kong, extending an existing partnership with Wise from Singapore. The new service lets Aspire’s SME customers send money in over 40 currencies to markets including Singapore, the US, Australia, Japan, and Korea directly from the Aspire app. 

DIGITAL & eCOMMERCE

Mirakl has announced a strategic partnership with Stripe to help merchants participate in the emerging trend of “agentic commerce” facilitated by AI shopping assistants. Through this collaboration, Mirakl will serve as the integration layer connecting retailers’ product catalogues to AI-driven shopping channels, while Stripe will provide the payments and authorization infrastructure for purchases made by AI agents.

MOBILE MONEY/WALLETS

Mastercard is collaborating with TerraPay to enable digital wallet users to pay at merchants worldwide through the Mastercard network. The partnership will let customers of TerraPay’s mobile wallet partners make contactless NFC payments at over 150 million Mastercard acceptance points globally.
