UK-based payments firm The ai Corporation (ai) has joined Visa’s “Ready for Fleet” partner programme to fast-track fuel and mobility payment solutions for commercial fleets. Its cloud platform aiEazyFuel will support Visa Fleet 2.0, enabling global and flexible fleet card operations with built-in fraud prevention.

Getnet and UnionPay International have signed a strategic agreement to expand UnionPay card acceptance across Spain and Portugal. The partnership will extend UnionPay’s reach in retail stores, e-commerce, and public transit systems, and will explore QR code payments via UnionPay’s e-wallet to cater to Chinese consumers.

Banco BS2 has introduced a new API via its Easy Pay platform that lets foreign financial institutions offer Pix QR code payments to non-residents and visitors in Brazil. The solution connects global companies to Brazil’s instant payment network, enabling people without local bank accounts to pay for purchases in Brazil through Pix.

Mad Mobile has launched a Premier Acquirer Services platform in partnership with Visa’s Cybersource, SouthState Bank and RS2, allowing restaurants and retailers to process card payments directly. U.S.-based fintech PayQuicker has partnered with Uruguay’s dLocal to expand its global payout platform across Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America. PayQuicker’s orchestration technology will integrate dLocal’s network of 900+ local payment options, including bank transfers and e-wallets, in emerging markets. This alliance enables businesses using PayQuicker to instantly disburse funds to beneficiaries in over 210 countries, using local currencies and preferred payment methods to simplify mass payouts to underbanked areas worldwide.
